    Common Questions

    1. Thermal Receipt printer


    A. can not print words:

    Answer: 1. Check if the paper is reversed

                 2. check if the paper is worn under the rubber roller

                 3. Check if you are using expired thermal paper

    B. The print word is truncated and separated:

    Answer: 1. Check if the driver is installed with the correct driver

    E. Font library:

    Answer: Depending on the specific model, the font library is what language we often support.


    1. I downloaded the attendance report, but I need to modify the table data or size. How to operate?

    A: Open the attendance report, click on the top of the form: Review - Revoke Worksheet Protection, and enter the password: 7b5b3b1b3b1b3. You can make changes to the attendance report. (If you need to change the password, enter the "Device Settings - Report Password Settings" in the attendance machine menu and enter the password to be set).

     

    2. The customer inserts the USB flash drive into the attendance machine, what should I do if it prompts "format error" when downloading the form?


    Answer: The USB disk format supported by the attendance machine is FAT32 format. If the USB disk is in other formats, it needs to be changed to FAT32 format (modify the U disk format process: right-click the USB disk and click format. In the pop-up window, the file system bar Select FAT32, then click Start. Note: Modifying the U disk format will clear the data in the U disk, we ask the customer to back up the files in the U disk after modification.), or replace a U disk in FAT32 format.

     

    3. The customer inserts the USB flash drive into the attendance machine, what should I do if it prompts "Please insert the USB flash drive" when downloading the form?

    A: If the customer is not using the U disk provided by us, please replace it with another U disk and download it again. If it is equipped with our U disk, observe whether the indicator light of the U disk is on. If it is not on, it means that the power supply is not enough, or the interface of the attendance machine is in poor contact.


    4. What should I do if the time of the attendance machine will return to the previous time after each power failure?

    Answer: There is a button battery in the attendance machine to manage the time. If the button battery is insufficient, this problem will occur. You can let customers buy a battery with the model "CR2032, 3V". Remove the case of the attendance machine and replace it by yourself.


    5. After the time is adjusted, it will be inaccurate after a while, or the time will not go, but the attendance machine has not been powered off, what should I do?

    A: If you encounter this problem, you need to send it back for repair.


    6. When entering the face, the entry is successful, but the verification failure will be prompted when punching the card. What should I do?

    A: If the face information is entered and the attendance is not in the same place and the same location, the face verification will fail. The attendance machine needs to be placed indoors, and the face information will be entered again after fixing it.


    7. The attendance machine cannot punch in, and there is no prompt for face verification and fingerprint verification. What should I do?

    A: Enter the "Attendance Settings - Verification Method" in the menu of the attendance machine and select the option of "Face Fingerprint Password".

    8. The customer has already called attendance, but there is no data in the downloaded attendance report, what should I do?

    Answer: 1. Check whether the scheduling method is employee scheduling or department scheduling. If it is employee scheduling, it needs to be changed to department scheduling. (Employee scheduling needs to be arranged on the computer before data is available).
            2. If the customer chooses the department shift as the scheduling method, check if there is any problem with the customer's shift setting. (The correct format of the shift setting: for example, if a company has two attendances at 8:00 and 18:00 a day, it only needs to set the time 8:00-18:00 on the first time period of the shift. 00:00—00:00 is enough. If there are other shifts, just set the second shift according to the above setting method.


    A. Connect the data cable correctly but not start

    Answer: 1. The scanner is not powered on, make sure the host is powered on and normal.
            2. The interface data cable is not connected correctly, please check whether the data cable is properly inserted.
            3. Ensure that the host is powered on and meets the power supply requirements of the engine.
            4. Check whether the device and the scanner are connected according to the scanner interface definition before.

    B. Connected but unable to read barcode

    Answer: 1. This type of barcode code system is not turned on, and the code system is turned on by reading the setting code.
            2. The barcode is damaged, please try to scan other barcodes of the same type.
            3. The distance between the barcode scanner and the barcode is not suitable, please move the barcode to a suitable position.
            4. If the barcode is not within the scanning range, compare the barcode and identify it.

    C. The barcode can be read, but the host does not display the content

    Answer: 1. The interface settings do not match. Scan the interface setting barcode in the manual to match the actual communication interface.

     

    D. After scanning, the content displayed on the host is incorrect:

    Answer: 1. The input method is wrong (for the usb interface), adjust the computer input method to English lowercase.
           2. Check whether the serial port parameter setting matches the host computer (for serial port interface), scan the serial port parameter barcode in the manual, so that the serial port parameters of the scanner and the host computer match each other.
           3. Make other settings on the scanner, scan the "Restore Factory Settings" bar code, and restore the scanner parameters to the factory state.

    E. The barcode content is garbled or wrong:

    A: The language of the scanner does not match the language of the keyboard on the pc (for the usb interface), adjust the language of the keyboard on the pc to be the same as that of the scanner.
     
    F. After reading the code, there is content output but the scanner has no sound:

    A: The prompt tone for successful code reading is not turned on, scan the "Restore Factory Settings" barcode to restore the scanner parameters to the factory state

    G. The output content of the QR code containing Chinese is wrong:

    A: The Chinese output is off by default, scan the setting barcode in the manual to output Chinese, and turn on the Chinese output function.
     
    H. The QR code whose content is a URL cannot be recognized:

    Answer: Some models have the URL QR code recognition function disabled by default. Scan the setting barcode of the URL QR code output function in the manual to enable the URL QR code output function.
